United Arab Emirates announce they are cutting ties with Qatar

As you may have heard through various media channels the nations of Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have announced today that they are cutting ties with Qatar.

It is also reported that within 24 hours of today's announcement, air and sea ports may be closing.

Whilst we are waiting to find out more from the Gulf carriers we can confirm that Etihad has announced on their website that they will be suspending flights from tomorrow. No information has been received by any of the other Gulf carriers at this stage.

Currently FCM Travel Solutions is working through our passenger manifests and will be making contact with travellers that are affected on a priority basis. Firstly travellers that are in country and then passengers due to travel in the next 48 hours. Please have patience as we will be managing a great deal of travellers over this time.

We are closely monitoring the situation with all Gulf carriers and will provide additional updates to this page.
